It’s hard to believe that this blog is now six years old.

I started this blog in 2010 when I realised that customers and colleagues were asking similar questions and I wanted a more efficient way to broadcast thoughts more quickly. Those were the days before ‘thought leadership’ and other such marketing terms were commonplace.

My very first post in 2010 was the cost of running Tesco clubcard. We were working on some loyalty platforms at the time, and Tesco was the flagship loyalty platform. As an aside, Tesco’s share price is now only a third of what it was in January 2010. Ouch.

The most popular posts of 2015 were – in descending order:

  1. A review of Google Inbox
  2. Agile London at Thomas Cook
  3. Sitecore EMEA Partners Summit 2015 – conference notes

Thank you to everyone for reading this blog, and for those to email me to cover specific topics.

A colleague asked me recently whether I have any new year’s resolutions for the site. The answer is ‘sort of‘. I didn’t update the site for a couple of months last year whilst there were some changes at Endava and I was travelling more than usual – my mind was in a different place. So hopefully there won’t be any quiet periods in 2016. But, and it’s a big BUT, I have always maintained that if I don’t have anything to say, I’ll simply keep quiet. I’m not writing for the sake of blogging.

Again, thank you for the encouragement.
